These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.iblok.co.za (the “Website”) and your purchase and installation of iBLOK vehicle immobiliser products and services. By using the Website, submitting a booking or enquiry, or purchasing an iBLOK product, you agree to these Terms.
The Website and the iBLOK brand are operated by Blocktronic (Pty) Limited (“iBLOK”, “we”, “us”, “our”), located at Unit 14, Block B, N1 City Mews, N1 City, Cape Town, South Africa.

iBLOK supplies and installs digital vehicle immobiliser systems. Product descriptions, images and specifications on the Website are for general information and may change without notice.
· Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
· The “from” price shown on the Website is a guide only. The final price may vary depending on vehicle make, model and installation requirements, and will be confirmed before installation.
· We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
iBLOK maintains a database of compatible vehicles. Compatibility must be confirmed before installation. We may decline or cancel an installation if your vehicle is not compatible, in which case any payment made for that installation will be refunded.
· Submitting a booking form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Our team will confirm your slot within 24 business hours of receiving your request.
· You must provide accurate vehicle and contact details (including VIN/chassis number).
· You must provide a covered area, protected from the elements, at the installation address. We may reschedule if suitable conditions are not available.
· Installation must be carried out by iBLOK or an iBLOK-authorised installer only.
· iBLOK products carry a 3-year warranty covering parts and software, from the date of installation.
· The warranty applies only to products installed by iBLOK or an authorised installer.
· The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, flooding, unauthorised modification, tampering, repairs by non-authorised persons, or damage unrelated to the iBLOK unit.
· iBLOK units are installed without cutting the vehicle’s wiring and are designed not to affect the manufacturer’s (OEM) warranty. However, we cannot control how a vehicle manufacturer or insurer interprets its own warranty or policy terms.
· Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), including the implied warranty of quality.
· Your PIN sequence is chosen by you and can be changed at any time. You are responsible for keeping it confidential.
· You are responsible for anyone you share your PIN with.
· iBLOK will never ask you to send your PIN by email or message.
· Use Service/Valet Mode when handing the vehicle to a service centre or valet, so that your PIN stays private.
iBLOK is designed to prevent unauthorised starting of your vehicle through digital attack methods. However, no security system can guarantee that a vehicle will never be stolen, damaged or broken into. Theft prevention depends on many factors outside our control, including physical access, other vehicle vulnerabilities and user behaviour. Statements about resistance or immunity on the Website relate to the digital attack methods described and are not a guarantee against all forms of theft. iBLOK does not replace insurance, and we recommend you check your insurer’s requirements and notify them of the installation.
Submitting a dealer enquiry does not create a dealer, reseller or distribution relationship. Any such relationship will exist only under a separate written agreement signed by Blocktronic (Pty) Limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
· iBLOK is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss (including loss of use, loss of income or loss of profit).
· Our total liability relating to any product or service is limited to the amount you paid for that product or service.
· Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for gross negligence, fraud, or your rights under the CPA.
We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Information submitted through booking and enquiry forms is used solely to schedule, perform and service installations, for warranty purposes, and to respond to dealer enquiries. Where you have opted in, we may send you product and dealer updates, and you may opt out at any time. We do not share your information with unauthorised third parties.
· All content on the Website, including the iBLOK name, logo, text, images and videos, is owned by or licensed to Blocktronic (Pty) Limited and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our written permission.
· You may not use the Website for unlawful purposes, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or interfere with its operation.
· The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content.
By submitting a form or contacting us, you agree that we may communicate with you by email, telephone or WhatsApp, in line with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 and your stated contact preferences.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the date it is published on the Website. Continued use of the Website after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You and iBLOK agree to the jurisdiction of the South African courts, without limiting your right to approach the National Consumer Commission, the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, or any other forum available to you under the CPA.
